Brewing the Perfect Cup of Coffee with Chemex

Chemex is an artisanal, manual pour over method known for brewing an exceptionally clean and delicate cup. In this brew method, the filter sits flush against the glass walls of the server and slows down the brew time. New Caffè Umbria Café Coming to SW Portland Spring 2017

2017 is a year of growth for Caffè Umbria. We've been on the lookout for just the right buildings in just the right neighborhoods in several of our favorite cities. Last year when we learned the historic Sovereign Hotel in SW Portland was being restored, with space for retail on the first floor, we jumped at the chance to inhabit the beautiful space!

New Portland Training Lab Now Open

Caffe Umbria is growing in 2017! Last week we celebrated  the grand opening of our first new location, a Training Lab in Portland.  This dedicated training facility will be home to our training team, and will be a a space to provide hands on coffee education. Our team will share three generations of coffee knowledge with new employees and wholesale customers.
